Pomegranate

Spherical yellow/red fruit containing a pink, juicy pulp around the many seeds, with glossy leaves and bright scarlet red flowers.

Habit - Deciduous tree, ideal containerised and long lived (200years) but slow growing.

Size - 3 metres in height.

Pollination - Flowers over a long period from late spring through summer. Self-fertile.

Harvest - Late autumn / winter

Pomegranate Eversweet

Large showy orange-red flowers over a long period from late spring through summer. Red fruit with very sweet clear juice, virtually seedless. Immature fruit are also very sweet.

Habit - Deciduous tree, ideal containerised and long lived (200years) but slow growing.

Harvest - Harvest in late autumn/early winter, 5-7 months after flowering. Will not ripen after harvest.

Pomegranate Wonderful

Flowers over a long period from late spring through summer. Very large round dark purple-red fruit with medium/thick rind. Deep red juicy, winey pulp with medium hard seeds.

Habit - Stunning fruiting plant from Florida. First propagated in California in 1896. Deciduous compact tree, ideal for containerisation. Vigorous and productive. Glossy leaves and bright scarlet red flowers.

Size - 2 x 3 metres.

Pollination - Self-fertile.

Harvest - Harvest in late autumn/early winter, 5-7 months after flowering. Will not ripen after harvest.
